Over 60% of garbage is sent to solid waste landfills around the world, with a smaller fraction going to incineration or recycling. Landfills are a significant source of pollution that threatens a community’s drinking waste supply and our climate security. Landfills are the third largest source of methane and as our customers focus on sustainability, the environmental impacts of solid waste becomes a significant issue. Our technology helps to address two major sources of pollution by first diverting solid waste from landfills, and then by displacing the use of fossil fuels, while also reducing operating expenses for our customers.
